Breathing Life Into Boodja – Film Screen and Talk
Balingup Town Hall
http://www.gondwanalink.org/

In 2021 the UN Decade of Ecological Restoration begins. Many countries around the world have already started multi-million hectare restoration projects. Western Australia has too – it’s called Gondwana Link, one of the largest and most ambitious conservation projects in Australia.
The aim is to reconnect 1000km of bushland, from the Nullabor Plain to Margaret River. Breathing Life into Boodja is a film that documents this process. It conveys the joys and satisfactions experienced by Noongar people, scientists, landowners and volunteers working to restore the internationally recognised biodiversity of the south-west of WA. The film offers a timely and hopeful reminder of what can be achieved when communities come together to work for the land.
