Set high on a hill overlooking the magnificent Blackwood River Valley, Tathra Hill Top Retreat offers you luxury in the total peace and quiet of a rural setting.
Each apartment has a double spa in a cosy bathroom, with separate shower, and separate toilet. Set up for two adults, there is a small kitchen/dining, a BBQ on the veranda, a full complement of cutlery and crockery. A leather lounge with Satellite TV, DVD, MP3, Queen Bed with quality linen. A complimentary continental breakfast and tea and coffee are offered.

Apart from the panorama of the valley stretching out as far as the eye can see, there are glimpses of cows grazing in the paddocks below, and kangaroos in the garden. Tathra’s birds are legionary, and will happily join you on the veranda.
A fifty acre registered Wild Life sanctuary, offers walk trails for guests. There is a restaurant on site, and your evening meal can be delivered to your unit, if ordered by 3pm. Next to the restaurant is Ellis Cottage Museum the first cottage built on the farm, see how life was lived 120 years ago, now a living museum admission is free during restaurant hours.
Tathra is situated in the heart of the South West. It’s a 45 minute or less drive to a most of the tourist towns in the SW. The newly opened Mowen Road connects Nannup to Margaret River and opens up another exciting corridor.
The nearby towns of Balingup (27 Kms) and Nannup (14 Kms) offer interesting shopping, sightseeing and great food. The drive to them along State Tourist Drive Route 251 offers an enchanting trip, meandering along a beautiful winding country road, with glimpses of the Blackwood River.
