Origins Centre is a registered charitable, not-for-profit NGO founded in 1983. We are a respite, retreat and community activity centre located just outside the town of Balingup, 2.5-3 hours south west of Perth, Western Australia.

The Centre welcomes individuals and groups for respite, retreat, activities, courses and events. Accommodation, amenities and facilities are available by donation. There are private and shared rooms as well as a communal kitchen and living space.

Our 2 bedroom fully self-contained timber and iron cottage has all you need for a quiet escape from the big smoke. If you like what we like, you’ll appreciate the country experience all the more when the accommodation is comfortable.
